JOIN US FOR A WEEK OF CREATIVITY AND FUN in a relaxed setting and enjoy the fellowship of a group with similar interests. Spouses not registered in a class are welcome to join in the week’s activities and explore the Sorrento area.

Sunday - 4:30-5:30 p.m........Meet & Greet Carving Contest - Part 1: This is a “fun” event for everyone, whether a carver or not – all that is needed is a sharp knife. Participants will be put on teams, given a piece of wood and a simple project to whittle in a 1-hour time limit - choose to carve or simply bring a chair and a beverage and visit while watching the proceedings. 5:00-6:00 p.m. – Meet & Greet “Appy Hour”. Snacks, pop and ice will be provided.

Sunday - 6:00-7:00 p.m........Welcome Barbeque: This is included in the tuition fee – all students should plan to attend if at all possible.

Sunday - 7:00-7:15 p.m........Opening Remarks and Introduction of Instructors.

Sunday - 7:15-8:15 p.m........Classroom Readiness: Instructors will lead their students to their classroom and ensure all are set up and ready to commence class first thing next morning (note that students may commence setting up in their classrooms at 2:00 p.m.)

Monday - Friday - 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (half-hour for lunch) - Classroom instruction: Classrooms will be available in the evening for those who wish to do “homework”.

Monday - 4:45-5:30 p.m. ......Carving Contest - Part 2: This part is a surprise – if you’ve seen it before, keep quiet – don’t ruin it for others.

Thursday - 5:00-6:00 p.m..... “Appy Hour” and Art Display: Snacks, pop and ice will be provided; bring one or two of your creations to put on a display table for others to enjoy. Bring your gifts if participating in the gift exchange.

Thursday - 6:00-7:00 p.m..... Farewell Dinner, Break-Even Tuition Refund Draw, Closing Remarks: The School’sbreak-even point is 72 full-time equivalent students; if we get 73 full-time equivalents or more, we will enter all student names into a draw for a “Tuition

Fee Refund”. Names will be drawn throughout the week and the last one in the box on Thursday night will get a tuition fee refund.

Thursday - 7:15-9:15 p.m.....Gift Exchange: For those who choose to participate – bring a small gift, preferably one of your own creations, and get a gift back.
